This article is such horseshit that it’s actually a great example of how the media falsely/negatively spin things. I gave A-Rod his 3,000th hit baseball in exchange for the Yankees donating $150,000 a children’s baseball charity. No mention of that. And it wasn’t even a “demand.” The Yankees offered. As for Fort Bragg, I was invited by an active duty soldier who had an extra ticket — no mention of that either — and I pledged to donate money to a veteran’s charity before there was any controversy.
